Product types in Koho: one-time invoicing and seasonal invoicing

In Koho, products can be defined into two different types of invoicing:

• One-time billed products: Billed only once for contracts or invoices.

• Seasonally billable products: Billed on a recurring basis at specific time intervals (e.g., monthly). Especially suitable for continuous services.

Identify product types in the user interface

The type of product is easily identifiable by the icon in front of the name:

• Folder icon: The product must be billed once.

• Continuity icon: The product is seasonally invoiced.

  

Editing and copying a product

1. Go to the Products section of Settings >.

2. Select the desired product by clicking on its name. This will open the product preview card.

3. In the upper left corner of the preview card, you will find the Copy product button (my copyicon). By clicking here, Koho will create an identical copy of the product.

Set up a billing type

On the product preview card, you'll find the Monthly setting to determine how the product is billed:

• Periodical not selected: The product must be billed on a one-time basis.

• Periodical selected: The product is seasonally billable.
