The time card is used to measure the time spent on work tasks. It is usually used in parallel with the working day clock, which in turn measures the duration of the working day. The combination of these creates the basis for both salary payment and correctly distributed invoicing.

Start tasks through search

The measurement can be started directly through the search field in the upper right corner of Koho. When you click on a job that appears in the search results, you start counting the time spent on the task in question.

If the measurement is already in progress, selecting a new task will automatically end the previous clocking and start counting down the time for the last selected task. This makes it easy to move from one task and customer relationship to another throughout the working day.

Add tasks to the Favorites view

When the same tasks are done frequently, they can be added to the Timecard - Favorites view. In this way, switching between them does not require the use of the search box - but it does not exclude it either.

At the top of the view, you can search for a customer or specific tasks of the customer and press the Add to favorites button. The view groups tasks by customer, regardless of the order in which they are added. Each task row has its own Start button, from which the clocking of the task in question can be started directly. In the box at the end of the rows, you can select tasks that you no longer need, which can be removed from the trash can icon.

Termination of tasks

Regardless of the startup method, the running clock and the selected task remain visible near the search bar. When you want to end a task without changing it to another, you can press the Stop button that appears after the task name.
